The Art Room Cincinnati offers a subscription of ART-ROOM-KITS that come right to your door. Our kits includes a variety of art & craft materials from The Art Room Cincinnati that your child can use at home to create whatever their imagination can dream up! Every kit will have different materials so your child will never get board. Similar to The Art Room’s Makerspace, there are no instructions or models so your child’s imagination is their guide. Watch your child’s patience, creativity & pride grow with each new piece of art they create.
Subscriptions include 4 monthly deliveries ($40) or 2 monthly deliveries ($25). 1 time delivery is also available ($15). *Right now this service is only offered to residence of Norwood/Cincinnati OH.
Your first delivery will include scissors & glue. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for everyone so if there is anything that you or your child do not want included in the kit please list it when you subscribe (glitter, paint, scissor, etc). Each week the kit will have different materials. If you have multiple children, you can add a second kit for $7/kit. You can choose if you want the kits to be the same as each other or different.
Subscriptions will start in May.
If you live in Norwood/Norwood near you will have the option to include returnable items in your kits, such as hat looms, easels or hot glue guns. I will pick the item up from your porch at the end of the week. *Receiving a returnable item may mean the kit has less materials so your child can hone in on the skill of the returnable item. These are not full kits but examples of some basic items that could be included in your ART-ROOM-KIT subscription. Sometimes the kits will be themed, sometimes all the materials will be random, but every kit will include at least 10-15 different materials for your child to explore & create with. The Art Room Cincinnati is owned & operated by Erika Michelle-McClure & my 9 year old, Jonah. Both of us are neurodivergent and express ourselves through movement & creativity. Our goal is to create a safe space for everyone to express themselves, especially neuro-spicies like us. Jonah is a skilled drawer, loves to make things out of cardboard, to create stop-motion-animations & to teach people how to do art. I like graphic design & am incorporating that into cricut design space, I am becoming more skilled at sewing with the sewing machine & serger and I enjoy making new things from old things - reuse, repurpose, recycle!
